Tilley’s Gluten Free Bakery & Chocolate House is based in Bodmin, in the heart of Cornwall. 

We offer high quality gluten free baked goods and handmade chocolates, offering nationwide delivery.

There are many different products, from gluten free bread, cakes, handmade chocolates and much more. We have many years experience within the industry, so you know we’re a company you can trust. Our business name speaks for itself. 

We used to be based in Devon and have recently moved premises to Cornwall in Bodmin, with many happy returning customers all across the UK.

Tilleys is owned and managed by Brian Spence.

 

He started in a bakery when he was 14 years old on a part-time basis, going to full-time when leaving school.

He attended Northampton College for his City and Guilds in Bakery Parts 1 and 2. He was the best student for that year and won the Renshaw Challenge Cup.

He attended the Cambridge College for Cake Decorating, Royal Icing etc.

Brian opened his own bakery from scratch.

He also worked for a supermarket chain as an Assistant Manager in the Bakery.

He worked mainly in small bakeries, and also worked in Scotland, where the bakery had a Royal Warrant. They produced the Royal Loaf which went up to the Castle for the Queen and visitors.
